Awakening

HangingbyaHalo

One day you will wake up and it will hit you,

You will see tomorrow and remember yesterday,

The sky will seem as if it is the most beautiful shade of blue you have ever seen,

The trees will glow green

for what seems the first time you will See

and be amazed by how they dance in the wind

So gracefully...

This is the realization that this life is finite

That it will indeed one day

End.

You will think of all the time you spent on things that were not of importance.

Imagining how differently you would write your story

If only you could go back.

You may shed tear for Love lost, opportunity missed, words unsaid.

If reading those words tied your stomach into a bow

Welcome to that day.

Good write. Life on earth may be finite but the Spirit of your life will go on for eternity.

Absolutely brilliant and there was definitely a day that your words would of tied my stomach into an endless pit of darkness, thank you for helping show your light to see how far I've travelled.

      Much love and respect

Keep your eyes to the light love. I am glad you are able to see how far you have come.
        With love,

Such truth to your words. I I find myself now in tune with my surroundings. Beautiful write!

“The sky will seem as if it is the most beautiful shade of blue you have ever seen”
Those are the exact words to describe a very real memory that happened to me… the morning my father passed. Like you read my mind… your words here happened to me. In my grief and feeling lost, I remember driving that morning and suddenly noticing how the sky was exactly as you described. That was such an unusual feeling and I will never forget it.
        I don’t know how I missed this one 🤔
        Very nice writing. Cheers.
