When my enemies come through,
and they knock me on my back,
and revile me for following God,
they leave me for dead,
but my faith keeps me strong.
I get up, and continue moving on.
When I am out at sea,
and the hurricane blows hard,
and the waves reach twenty-five feet high,
and thunder sounds all night,
and the lightning likes to strike,
the Lord watches over my life.
When I'm all by myself,
and I'm starving with no drink
and nobody even seems to care,
I may not have a house,
but I know I'll have a home.
In just a little while, I'll be there
