If it is the valley I want to see,
To a mountain top I must climb.
If it is the mountain peak I want to see,
Up on a cloud I must go!
If I aspire to understand that cloud,
I will close my eyes and...
think
Think of the past and let it go
Think of the future and let it go
Think of the present and...
live it

- Comment from author about the poem: After reading “Life Or Death” by Kurt Philip Behm, I was inspired to write THINK! I’ve been thinking a lot about the valley where I was born. As the years have gone by, that valley has become more meaningful than ever before. Haven’t thought about it much...until now!

So true we can do nothing about what happened in the past, we do not know what will happen in the future but we do know about now, enjoy every moment of the now.

A fine write Laura. Will it be cloud nine? heehee.

Happy Holidays to you as well!
Reminds me of Rudyard Kipling:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Past is gone, you no longer can be
Why waste present for future to be
Live in the present, and live to be free
Of past and future, I totally agree
Suresh,
Thank you for stopping by! I appreciate the read and your wonderful poetic comment!
Happy Sunday!
