Scars
Scars each have a story
And some have stories old
Of the days of glory
When younger and more bold
They are little reminders
Of times in the past
And are an important history
Of injuries we’ve had
The scars in our minds
Truly are the worst
They are there but unapparent
Unseen and unobserved
The scars of our bodies
Are questioned quite a lot
Wondering what we were doing
When we injured the spot
No matter what the type
All scars are born with pain
And our bodies and our minds
Are never quite the same

Thanks, orchidee. I really appreciate your support.
Scars remind us of the experiences we needed to move on in life.
Scars tell a story of the pain in our lives. It's always nice to move on.
and it go's on.

Thanks, onepauly. I appreciate your support.
A fine summary of what scars to to the remainder of lives once injury has taken a hold. A needed reminder of the power of scars . Thanks for dealing with this important but rarely touched subject my friend.
Thanks, my friend. Scars are records of the pain in our lives. Healing occurs, and we survive with a lesson learned.
Brilliant...
Thanks, PD. It's always nice to hear from you.
The scars within which none see. Cleverly concealed yet weeping regret and remorse continually moulding our personna, often holding us back. Fears hovver, opportunities avoided. Futures marred.
Thanks, da. The scars within are possibly the worst. With no obvious scar, there is little indication that one has been injured. Sharing with others may help one heal, and the pain is not so bad.
For good or bad, the scars are goalposts of our lives........
Yes, Lorna. Scars tell a story of our lives.
