Flying High

Flying High

There are many kinds of high

Each and every day

Don’t worry about your dope

When a kite you can crave

Take it easy with yourself

And let your kite fly high

With the sun shining there

And sea gulls in the sky

Soar high in the clouds

Way above the Earth

With some others too

Flying high and observed

Know your kite is a gift

And fly it far and wide

And enjoy diving it

There in the deep blue skies

Let not your kite come down

But make long the scene

Knowing your kite is best

When nearly out of string

I was flying along with each line W.C. - - I like the way you give duo meaning to the actual flight we all must take. Thanks for sharing the importance of smoothing the way before we get too high.

Thanks, Fay. Flying too high is a danger. We're much better off not so far up. The physics of flying operate and help us find our right place.

Good write. There is a great sense of freedom when flying kites.

Thanks, Goldfinch. Freedom is a good thing.
