Saving Grace

Peaceout

Alone in my thoughts I cannot be. I think of how it used to be. Sometimes a haunt sometimes a bad thought many times alone or maybe not. The pain is for real not just in my mind it is the pain that keeps me in a bind. I struggle and fight in hopes that I will not succumb to the darkness that fills the night.

I see you from afar could it be? I am not sure. It is, it really is God and he is the cure. My fight is over my thoughts are clear my life has changed I am not in fear. Thank you for coming at my time of need it was you always there always there even with my thoughts I could not bare.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem was written about a dark time. Growing up in domestic violence and living in fear it tells just a small bit of how God came to the rescue.
