Heaven Help Us All.

kevin browne

There we watch the scenery's of God like landscapes
Declarations we shout about the sights which we see
Beauty raises a glass of champagne for our creations
Falling from grace held in the heart which has no beat
Those old stepping stones we cross are always there
Slipping over isn't the answer to anything that's new
These stories are written due to an amount of hope
Heavy enough to weigh down upon Hercules' shoulders
Holding it all inside, a thoughtful reminder is reflecting
Around the world 15 million times within one second
The thoughts speed up faster than the speed of love
Bring a plate full of mirrors for the sunshine is fading
Hold out your hands and hearts to catch a butterfly
You'll understand the misunderstanding of pure truth
When the world pulls you in towards its submissions
Tensions growing older to tighten up the grip of coping
And the distances are as long as they are short enough
Giving a healer of thoughts throwing out in the trash bin
A change is certainly needed if only we can live together
I'll flower up the aroma of a scent for the Earth is dying
If you love to love then say it over the hills of romance
With fields full of wheat listening to the blowing winds
Like humans bursting with the flavour of a better life
Animals are clever enough to teach us some affection
Faster and faster the universe is trying to reach outwards
Many a thing from actions are forced for you to fall apart
If your heart is hurting find a place where love is strong
Somewhere amongst glistening stars bleeding to live
For the light, we crave beauty in between whatever's there
Following footsteps towards the end of eternity will end
Simply done for reasons and only God said so himself
Enlighten up the edge of life for children to stand on
Don't cry little ones for peace is upon galaxy number 1
You'll end your day waking up in a dream of sleeping
Imaginations capture the revelations of what's gone wrong
But the Earth will carry on regardless of whatever happens
Evolving with the rotations of the oceans emptying out
Floods of tears fall from Heaven above as we catch them
Heaven help us all because here we come to rest in peace
Living life forms eradicated creatures with guns and bombs
I'll walk up the steps through the clouds of perception
A new beginning, a new true to you from my own heart
let go of the flowing breeze and drink up your own blood
I love this planet, but not to die for, I'll live on the moon
Atrocities claim the blame with a devastating atom bomb
Care for yourself holding hands together and not fall apart.

"For the light, we crave beauty in between whatever's there."

Oh, humans. Always so greedy, yet always content with what they have if it's all they've ever known. I liked that line the best. It clearly shows that we as humans do indeed look for worth amongst the places we have been and the place that we are in. Humans do that, and perhaps that is a vital part in the state of this world's affairs. I like the poetry. It is expressive to no bounds and grasps a wide variety of subjects. From the state of the world to the coming of Jesus, people dropping bombs and giving up the world if it goes to shit for no real reason. Well done. I will say though that if some of the lines were a bit more concise they would hit a lot harder for people that would have a harder time understanding them. Like I said, the poem was good, and I like that you were as expressive about all of these things as you were. Good to read your work again Kev.

Ah, bless you, my friend. This world, this planet needs reinventing back to its original beginnings of life. We have showered bombs from continent to continent with the thought of what the heck are we doing that for? Being more concise in these subjects I write about are abundant in my thoughts and imagery in my mind. Sometimes frustration against the world explodes in many places around the globe. I am a believer and thinker of positive notes to be written in the history books of which reveal the true beauty in which we live. Everything is available in the natural selections of what is really out there for us to learn more about how to stop the world from collapsing. Thank you for your comment and the graceful advice about how to concise my work together. I appreciate that a lot. Thank you.

onepauly, I keep my eyes on your work also. Your intellect with a pen is outstanding and deservedly so. Poet to poet I think you're a great composer of the invisible things that are revealed in your work I find your poems very touching indeed. Thanks for your comment.
