I Need Four Wheels

I Need Four Wheels

I consider myself lucky

To fear motorcycles so much

They are for me too scary

And I enjoy other stuff

Anything on two wheels

Is too dangerous to me

And I fear I’d lose control

While travelling so speedily

I know some that have died

On motorcycles going fast

And I am scared to ride

Fearing I too might crash

I take chances in my life

I need no Harley bike

I go mudding in my truck

And climb up hills sometimes

I play poker with the boys

And drink a beer or two

But I manage to stay alive

While others die too soon

I haven't ridden a motorbike for many. many years but there was always something thrilling about it.

A friend of a friend of mine had a Vincent Thousand CC motorcycle, he stripped it right down and all the black parts he got stove enamelled and all the chrome parts he had re-chromed. It was all put back and all was fine. He took it out for its first ride after the makeover and put it round a tree!

          w c,

Is that a pic of your four wheels?
I’d feel safe in that four wheeler!

          My son rides a motorcycle...
and every day a new grey hair appears on my head!

Enjoyed the write! Thank you for sharing!

            Hi Laura,

I got the truck pic online. I have had many trucks, though.
And my fear of motorcycles is very real.

            Thanks for your comments.
