Happiness In Life

 

I’m in the right place today

With family and friends that care

I’m between good and great

Between excellent and fair

 

There are others around me

That are happy too with life

And I want to hear their stories

Of how they stayed alive

 

I want to know those now

With no families or friends

And want to help them too

Fill a void within  

 

I want to reach out to them

And help pull them up

Away from the mud and mire

And into safety up above

 

I want to be their answer

To their many prayers

And I wish to spread the news

That someone is out there

 

I hope to let others see

It’s not the money you make

But that love is the key

To life most everyday
