Adolescence

this_girl

I hope you still own your innocence

you move like an assortment of wildflowers

leap in the field of love

and open heartedly receive the strength

you crave

I hope you acquire what you desire

think solely on your imprint you leave behind

inhale the sunlight

permit yourself to tolerate the poor and cruel

and use it as fuel

I hope you smile in the end

when it nears and you are bare

the sun sets

be vulnerable

reflect and weep

I hope you are good

from within I let a tear fall for you

you are shining

wave hello from the field

your innocence is yours
