Old Rock Stars Never Die

Old Rock Stars Never Die

Old rock stars never die

But live on in their songs

With the music that they play

Enjoyed concerts long

Many enjoy the lyrics

That make the music good

While others hear the guitars

Leading like they should

And there are those

Who enjoy tribute bands

With the rock kept alive

As the fans demand

Others hear their rock

Played on the radio

Songs older and some not

From playlists new and old

A rock star lives on

In the memories of his fans

And new generations too

Come to love the band

So very true, those rock stars of my past are still with me.

A fine write w c. We have an 'Elvis' in town. Don't look anything like him, mind you, but he always has some new pic of Elvis with him.

lol Thanks, orchidee. i got a chuckle at the thought of look-alike Elvis. Seems like everyone wants to be the king.

Oh Yes W.C. - rock stars never die for they leave songs in our hearts . A good reminder of who I still love to hear in that rock-n-roll field.

Hi Fay. Yes, our rock stars live on. A song can be timeless, and its enjoyment greater than when it was first performe.d
