A Man That Lost His Fight.

kevin browne

Touching is the sentiment of a man that lost his fight
When life breeds another we'll trust his beliefs are right.
There within his thoughts are his family that means so much
Magic is the life he breeds, breed with his loving touch.

In a memory thought of as indeed there were so many
The worth of them outweighed the ones of every penny.
How to remember is easily placed deep inside his heart
It can only be here where from seperation played its part.

A disintegration of flowering the seeds of what he sows
Beckons in the belief of nurturing his highs and his lows.
By perfecting his practice as a nurse to the ones he loved
Forever remains in a legacy of his own is still never enough.

Thereupon Heaven's gate life again is once more excepted
Through gentle tears the trauma of it not being ever expected.
Time has been far away in all his pastures walked alone
For his fruits of life are great even when he gives a dog a bone

Sharpened emotions rise from his spirit from all his knowing
That through his life there was never a moment of him going.
Sad sometimes reveals the truth of a well oiled beautiful being
Turned rusty on the inside, but that never kept him from seeing.

Truth is the matter of his existence, yet taken far too early
Another teardrop cried alongside the love of his true dearly
And when the yesterdays of yesteryears of his happy life
Is the tomorrow in a form of what we called his beautiful wife.

There she sleeps awake at night dreaming of her man
Being in Italy around the world and in the memories, she can.
A long time ago their love showed it was always here to stay
Until God will reflect the thought they'll meet again one day.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Such a sad day on the 13 September my brother in law passed away from the spreading of the disease cancer throughout his whole body. In just under 8 weeks he was taken so I wrote this yesterday after attending his funeral service. So many people turned up that the Holy Church was jam-packed then swelled out onto the street outside. it was such a sad day for such a beautiful man. R.I.P Tony Degregorio. You'll be sadly missed by thousands of people.

It was such a sad sad, and hundreds of people who knew him turned. The Church overflowed out into the street. Totally amazing.
