What A Child Needs

 

 

 

Wipe the tears from my eyes

When I cry and cannot see

 

Wipe my nose when it runs

And I cough and sneeze

 

 

 

Tell me a goodnight story

When I cannot rest

 

Help me smile when I am sad

And need some happiness

 

 

 

Understand when I’m bad

I do not want to sit

 

Help me when we play a game

To be fair while playing it

 

 

 

Help me when I color

To stay inside the lines

 

And help me know I need a nap

When it’s quiet time

 

 

 

Help me when I’ve hurt myself

And need some TLC

 

Hug me so I always know

The love of family
