Fallen Hard

"Carter Wills"

Maybe it was the look in your eyes.
Or maybe the smile on your lips.
Maybe the way your laugh travels across the room,
and the way you make everything just bliss.

Maybe it was the way you danced,
that beautiful way you moved.
Maybe it was all these little things
that made me fall in love with you.

I can't say for sure
which one it was that brought me down.
But whichever one it was,
I've fallen hard for you now.

I've fallen hard,
from everything you've done,
I've fallen hard,
I think I finally found the one,
I've fallen hard,
My heart you've solely won,
I've fallen hard.

Maybe it's too soon to say this,
maybe I'm just out of sense.
Maybe I am just a lunatic,
one who’s gone and jumped the fence.

Maybe I put my foot forward to soon,
and made a move I should have not.
Maybe I've gone and said too much,
and ruined everything we've got.

I can't say for sure,
how much of this all is true.
But I know the honesty of these words I say:
I've fallen hard for you.

Yes, Carter, if you're writing poetry about your time with her, then you've definitely fallen hard.

    Enjoy life. 🙂
