Living Lazarus

('The day of resurrection')

John Chapter 11 parts

********

John's Gospel Series (12)

Jesus did share in mourning sad

Times bitter, were not glad

For Mary and Martha's brother

Name Lazarus it were

He died, but Jesus did say

He the Life, Truth, and Way

This sickness not to death it be

But for God's glory, see

Jesus with Martha met and said

Lazarus from the dead

Shall rise again, now shall it be

Made possible through me

I am the resurrection

And the life, and each one

Who believes in me, though he die

Shall live through me, no lie

And whosoever lives, [and] believes

In me, new life receives

Shall never die eternally

At home with God shall be

Any physical death, transition

From this life to the one

That lasts for ever, though the Son

He over death has won

Death has no fear for me as I know I will be with My Spirit for eternity.
