Who would have thought that Spring could creep?
Into winter's darkness slowly seep
Sweet season with delicacies fair
Summer's matriarch; children lost, cold. Despair!
Sweet breeze slowly passing us by,
As we gaze through the night skies,
Sunrise as cool with shades on a sunny day,
This weather so calm for a picnic lay,
Bringing spring a further stay,
Best degree we shouldn’t want to delay ,
On valley floors and sunlit plains.
where shadows of the clouds roam free
the yellow shine of buttercups
in swaying waves of uncut grass.
-Michael-
As your smile evokes a sunbeam
As your eyes the moonbeams bring
As your arms show tenderness of love
Let your presence bring the Spring
