Living from my soul

Poetic Dan

I no longer feel the weight of the world on my shoulders
Now I know I'm the one standing on this bolder

Yet my brain can still flick between what it wants and what is real
As I remind it we are happy for all that we feel
Although everytime it hurts to say good bye
I know when I see them again they run with arms open wide

So I stand proudly on this bolder
Letting the tears clear and dry
Finding peace within darkness eye
Learn again and again to say goodbye
From the pain of love that never dies

In my waterfalls I find my flow
Streams showing where to go
So anger doesn't build a wall
Freely living from my soul

    Dan,

    Awesome pic!
    Awesome video!

Your poem expresses the pain of love!
The constant struggle within you is causing
all your pain as I can discern from your written words...

“Yet my brain can still flick between what it wants and what is real
As I remind it we are happy for all that we feel”

Until you can fully come to terms with that struggle within you, that battle will continue! So stay strong, stand proud, shed the tears so that “anger doesn’t build a wall”!

The years do go by fast. Your children will be adults sooner than you think! They’ll be free to be with you anytime they wish! They’ll need you “whole”! Right now this is what you’re trying to accomplish! Stay strong...don’t cave in!

    Enough of my “waffling”!

Thank you so much, I know every day I look back knowing I am stronger than before. The battle has become a blessing of love I'm slowly learning to float above.

          Orchi,

I really like that word “waffle”! I like it almost as much as the waffles I eat on Sunday mornings! 😉

Can't go wrong with some waffling
I think I hear a tune about to sing
How greatful I am to you ladys that know how to gleam. Thank you for your light that's never ending

Lovely mate! Big smiles here. Wicked picture.

Within that I find my own, knowing a smile is the best medicine and treasure we can own.
              Thank you buddy

Standing on your boulder you can look down at your past but you can now look up into your future knowing that the future will be full of joy and love.

Yes! Great reinforcement for a new day. Thank you Andy

I often wonder if feeling deeoly, strongly, intensely is a blessing or a curse. But if I had the choice I would not be without it. You have a rich soul Dan. Treasure yourself 💜

Thank you very much and it is the beauty of your soul that sees the reflection in mine. Together we rise to attract those unforgettable days 😉

If only life were as pure and true as the dreamer's mind! 😌
