Feelings unchanging

Carmine

No matter the time or place

it is always the same

this beating

this aching

going over and over in my heart

making my mind confused on what to do

making me uncontrollable and reckless

ever since this feeling came to me

it is slowly eating me

and

I'm trying my best to smile

but this feeling makes me feel heavy on my back

like someone is hugging me having their arms around me

this feeling makes me uncontrollable just acting by heart

and

not by mind

so I don't say any missunderstandings or anything foolish

I realized how foolish I was

how idiotic and chaotic my nature is

doing things I might regret

say words that I didn't mean

because my heart tells the truth

my mind tells the lies

but for that last moment

where I could really speak from the heart

I could finally set a bit of myself free

so you know that my feelings will be unchanging

that I'll never go away

that I'll never look away

and

that I'll be ready any day

for the words of

''I'm coming back''

because you know that

I'll always welcome you with open arms

if he does anything foolish to hurt you

but still the moment when I was true

was the happiest thing that I could do

feeling the warmth for the last time

and

those soft words before going back

to what it was before just smiling and laughing

but still this ache might make me

say words uncontrollable

because this feelings will always be with me

no matter how many years that goes

because you always make me happy blomma

so I'll stay as a guard dog

and

as a friend

ready to fight and shout

when you need it

because you were always sticking up for me

and

I will always stick up for you

being the first one on the front

taking my heart against the sky

to shout out my strength

that I will be unwavering

because this is my feelings

my unchanging feelings
