I'd love to do nothing but write

DD.

I'd love to do nothing but write,
Into the darkness of the night.
Scribble words down so fast,
Make an impression to last.
But the world keeps turning,
So I must start my earning.
And I can't quite sell my soul,
For the worlds reimagined gold.

Those words will be written and one day you will be able just to write.
