To Truly Be Rich

 

There are some that value money

And having it makes their days sunny

With more and more that they have

Giving worth and making glad

 

Other riches are spiritual ones

Come from God and His son

To all those that truly seek

Fulfillment with a life complete

 

When God’s peace is attained

It’s more valuable than worldly gain

And makes great a simple life

With His spirit that truly guides

 

Those with God know it’s true

That our lives He improves

With purpose felt every day

And forgiveness when we stray

 

The wise know rich really means

Knowing God personally   

With material things that He loans

Until we reach our Heavenly home
