Worries On My Mind

Worries On My Mind

I have a restless mind

With worries that deplete

With little happiness

Or true serenity

My worries are insane

And from dark places abound

And remind of the days

When depression kept me down

The catharsis that I need

Comes when I vent

As often as need be

Until I’m peaceful again

Church sometimes helps

Though I do not pursue religion

But in the choir I have felt

That peace I have been given

There are good things sometimes

When my life I inventory

And it’s then that I find

I’m no longer plagued by worry

We all worry at times - do we? Some things don't come to pass, or if they do, they are not as bad as we worried they might be!
Sometimes, through not having enough to occupy us (?) we may search for 'what to worry abut next. doh!

is in a song I once heard.
      so keep in tune.

God positive write, I too feel at peace in our Church Choir and the Community Choir that I have been in since its inception.

Thanks, G! To sing joyfully is wonderful praise.
