It Can Take Forever To Fall In Love.

kevin browne

Say some sunny days left all alone
Beside the winter snowflake tears
There wondering being left behind
Lay scattered over broken ground.

A leaf flutters up to bright blue skies
Outside bustling hotels and cafe's
Where branches like to sip on love
And touching in a world of being wise.

Park bench creek where once sat King
Upon his throne, dust had gathered
And those fading sounds of silent drum
Where robins' chirp and chaffinch sing.

Blossom up daffodils spring has sprung
Snowman and snowdrops melt behind
And burned grass autumn is here again
Living dreams underneath a golden Sun.

Wisely spoken about the rainbow of hope
Where butterflies learn to burst into life
A warmth of log fire will breed you cosy
And intentions are we learn how to cope.

As we walked down by lonely Riverside
Dragonfly playground is buzzing real loud
Scarecrow freeze alive without its curly hay
Badgers fight and foxes know where to hide.

It can take many years to finally know
It can take a long time to get close
It can take forever to fall in love
A place we very rarely go.
