Words Can Cut

 

Be careful of the words you say

As some cut deep as a blade

And know when you say the worse

Feelings are hard to reverse

 

And when angry words berate

Apologize before there’s hate

With a loving and peaceful Lamb

Guiding you all He can

 

And when you listen to Him

You’ll use good words once again

And you’ll be forgiven for your wrong

And be thankful that the hurt is gone

 

Strive to be a peaceful soul

And keep the Lamb in control

Lifting others when you can

With a strong and helpful hand
