They'll Love Your Song

They’ll Love Your Song

With time to pass everyday

Use it best and wisely

And sing a song as you play

And you’ll be rewarded highly

Speak your mind and be blessed

And you’ll have fans no doubt

They’ll be at the coffee shop

And clap for you real loud

They’ll be coffee and pastries

When your band entertains

And a cold beer tasted

Will leave none to complain

When the lights go down

Excited will be the crowd

Knowing soon your sound

Will make them sing out loud

And before you have ended

Let the audience know

That you consider them friends

Having heard your show

So true, we get this reaction in the Choir that I am in.

A fine write w c. Aww, why they clap at my singing - in protest, to heckle me off the performance stage? lol.
