To Feed The Needy

w c

To Feed The Needy

Help me let go and live

With purpose every day

And not forget to give

To the needy come my way

May there be food for all

And none ever wasted

With the dinner call

To the golden bird well basted

Let me make new friends

Glad to see each other

With kindness from them

To feed his hungry brother

And as I depart

May the helpers remain

There with many others

And depended on the same

Let the cooks continue

Working each special day

That hunger has been eased

In His holy name

A fine write w c. Jesus says if we tend to the hungry, needy, etc, we are tending to Him: 'Inasmuch as you did it to the least one, you did it unto Me'.
We're maybe not able to vastly increase our giving just because it's Christmas season though caring, giving, etc goes on all year round.
I buy extra tins of soup, tea bags, etc sometimes, then there is a donation box as we leave the store.

I appreciate your input. I knew there was a reason to give. I am reminded that we should help our brother in need. It is beneficial to all concerned. May we all know the reward of giving.

What a lofty noble idea you remind us with, we should always try to feed the hungry in the world. You said it in awesome rhyming wow. Kudos. And merry Xmas in advance.

Pleez do add your thoughts/comment/review under my newest poem too. Always nice to say hi to all here via comments.

Thankyou s.zaynab.kamoonpuri. The Xmas season is a season of gifts. The reward of giving to others benefits all those involved.
