Long Shadows
How upon how these long shadows
Insidiously fan out and weave
Between dappled pools of light and
Which seem to seize and steal
Our staccato breaths away
Before our very eyes it seems
And simultaneously so although
In different ways we bleed
Then on reflection
I remember oh so well indeed
With every single thrust and heave
She made redundant muscles ache
And quenched the thirst of a
Very thirsty man in need

It'd strange I always read something very different in the words you have marked as erotic...
I really liked how the words lingered and paused on the thoughts in my mind

if I am not mistaken, that sounds to me like a compliment.. and I thank you for it...
Oh yes it was a compliment full of typos!
You are welcome
then I thank you again for it... N
cheers..
Oh tender the gentle erotica used here to depict a memory never forgotten - a gem of a read Neville.
Bless you Fay.. you are far too generous for words, though always appreciated, I can tell ya... Neville
Yes, enough to bring on a swoon for me. Then again, what doesn't bring on a swoon for me?! I shall not recover from 'erotica' for at least a month! heehee. I should get out more, as they say! lol.
once in a while aint gonna do you no harm..
Ohh I know. I should let me hair down, get me coat, get out more, be a dark horse. By the time I thought up all these metaphors, I've run out of time to do anything more today! lol.
A sensual memory of a loved one is always a great read, Neville.
Your heart-felt poem flowed like the River Thames. A wonderful write and a pleasure to read. 🙂
Thank you Tamara...
