What Do I Want From You
What do I want from you
Now you are gone away
I want to chase that mint
Around your mouth
With my tongue again
I want to trace my name
On your shoulder blade
With my thumb again
I want to probe and peek
Play hide and seek and to
Locate that long lost crumb again
These are but a few of the things
I want from you
Now you are gone away

A fine write N. Erm is this about Polo mints? heehee.
I will leave that up to you, we all have our favourites, dont we .. thank you for checking in and considering my scribbles... Neville
I suspect I may swoon if I look in to this further - the mints and other stuff! lol.
So many intimate memories belong to those left alone when love goes away - - a poignant feel to this read Neville.
a visit most welcome Fay.. many thank you's for leaving such an insightful and reasoned response... Cheers, Neville
When love departs - thankfully I married my first love and we are still together and still in love but nonetheless I recognise this fine write.
thank you, you are a credit to your species sir...
The repetition works well to create a sense of longing. Though I don't think I have experienced the things you write of. Beyond the folly of my own imagination.
thank you sylviasearcher.. an opinion much appreciated & true...
oh' if only I could teach thee
what joy there might be had
but when it comes to folly
I am such a naughty lad.................Neville
