Another Sparkle In My Eye.

kevin browne

Another sparkle in my morning eye
When Sunshine's through my window pane
And the force of waking up today
Brings notice in another bright blue sky.

The branches wave them arms at me
And as winter turns reluctantly to spring
Coloured clouds leak their drowning pain
Flowers scent with the buzz of Bumblebee.

And I'll lift the sky up so summer brings
For when it rained down on all my tears
Therein places of my heart I had lost
Saddening times through richly years.

Along the riverside sipping morning dew
Dragonflies land upon the banks of bees
Hidden in natures need for something new
But, even bigger than the roaring seas.

I watched Moon fall over and lose its grip
Through the misty clouds and its cover-up
But, from inside the love of Venus, I sip
Then listen to flowers sing me buttercup.

Another sparkle in my evening sight
You don't need a telescope to love me
The universe unveils its beauty at night
Like firework shows so look up and see.

And, adventures gained the possibilities
Of flying like a bird up in the sunny skies
There I'd dreamt of thoughts, but never seen
Around the history of life, and places I'd been.

Yes. comfort contained the love for the living
And, the dreams with the hope of the giving
Tenderly we pick the flower without venom
Just to let the world know, so just tell them.

I've played my part upon this stage I've stood
To let you know what's right or if you should
My life is yours to hold my heart upon my soul
I found my place, I hit the target, I hit my goal.

So. I lay there still and just watch life breed
To grow strong with grace and beauty by my side
And, if ever I can help, if ever who's in need
But, I lay there still, underneath it all, I hide.

I'll leave you the bunch, you can have it all
I'll breathe air, I'll sip the Sun, the Moon is ours
And, if the branches break, I'll catch your fall
I'll buy you chocolate, you buy me the flowers.

Now it's night time and its time for bed
When I got to see broken window pane
So, I lay there quiet on the bed I led
Until tomorrow when it all starts again.

indeed we must retain the beauty of it all. There is so much left to write about so I thought I'd include one too. Thanks, Goldfinch60.
