looking for the end of the rainbow

Jon Nakapalau

we did not notice

the stained glass moments
that filled our shadows

with vivid possibilities
tinted with shared longing

simple and not offering
promises of a pot of gold

but only striated threads
that could have lead to

so many paths
we could have colored

together.

Beautiful write, those times together are worth more than gold.

Perfectly lovely.... and the perfect song to go with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1bFr2SWP1I
