Gentle Soul

Echo Seeker

Gentle Soul

Oh gentle soul, please don't cry,

I'll wipe the tear from your eye.

I'll make the hurt go away,

Just let me stay, come what may.

I'll bring a smile to your heart,

And heal every broken part.

So lift your head, little dear,

I miss your grin full of cheer.

With so many in such pain,

Lives so hollow, spirits slain,

They need light, they need you,

So no matter what you do,

Cling to your innocent air,

Like we're all loved, and life is fair.

They need you and so do I,

If I have to I will lie.

I'll tell you all you want to hear,

And banish every single fear.

I'll guard you from all darts hurled,

Since we need hope here in this world.

So sleep in peace and surety,

Happiness and purity.

I'll keep the world far away,

And bid that smile now to stay.
