Christmas Time
Lights on the Christmas tree
And tinsel and balls
Rudolf with his nose so bright
Leading Santa Claus
Many packages and gifts wrapped
With Christmas music played
Johnny Mathis and others
As for Santa we await
The stockings in a row
On the mantle piece
With milk and cookies there
To give Santa his energy
The story of Christmas was read
That adults too enjoyed
And children went to bed
As good girls and boys
Ho, ho, ho to all
As reindeer pulled away
To other boys and girls
Good and well behaved

A delightful number of reasons why this special season is a time of enjoyment for adults and children alike - thank you WC for sharing the warmth of gift-giving at Christmas.
Thanks, Fay. Christmas is a wonderful season. I appreciate your kind words and wish you a very Merry Christmas.
May Father Christmas bring you all you wish for.
Thank you for well wishes. I bid you happiness as well.
A good write w c. I hate Christmas in a way - on Christmas morning our lounge is always full of soot. It's a pain! Hmmm. Some fat bloke got down the chimney somehow! Did the reindeer come down the chimney too? lol
lol Christmas can be trying. I have to remember the true reason for the season- the birth of our savior. Everything else is extra and should be celebrated as such..
Thanks w c. Erm, I read a less-refined version of my comment, about some fat winging ******* coming down the chimney and ****ing things up! Ooohh, me ears are burning!
