Have You?

"Carter Wills"

Have you ever loved someone so much
that it hurts to be apart?
Cared for them so deeply strong,
with all you have in your heart?

Have you ever been so bewitched
that you're dizzied lovesick with joy?
Found that one you need the most,
with this love not being a ploy?

Have you ever just been so very happy
just to hear the sound of their voice?
To listen to their words and tones
that leave love as the only choice?

Have you ever felt these things?
Then let me say something new,
for my own self has felt them, yes,
all of it about you.

So now you know how it is I feel,
and I must ask this question again come through:
You know that I have felt this way,
and my hopeful question is, have you?
