Where John Lennon Lives.

kevin browne

Imagine if there's no Heaven where John Lennon lives
How on Earth if there's no one to tell us about our peace
And things go wrong if there's nothing else left to live for
Dying in the pleasure of writing another sad love song

And, he said that he's a dreamer in a world living together
And, that as one we could without the fighting join forever
Where no possessions don't matter its there if we just tried
Imagine if just a little the world would be far greater of pride

Sharing a world, he said, you would be able to use imagination
But give a chance to the people who thought there's' no Heaven
To sing with the shooting that landed Lennon flat on his back
Where Queen of New York City listened to the choir boys play

We'll leave Lennon in peace on his Grand piano playing chords
While the world carries on regardless of what anything ever does
Therefore, old Juliet come out to play Shakespeare's listening
But, please hurry up or they'll be another big war of the worlds

It's a heartache when you know the world has been thrown away
Mesmerised by the daunting size of the mess of it in every way
When every sailor has sailed his last ship over all the edges
The waves will crumble from above the clouds that are hiding

Skies have darkened since the enlightenment of whats bright
Stars fading in a darkness glow capturing your heart at night
And, in forgiving the man that manages to find a cure for life
We'll share that dream once more in keeping the world alight

Humbled be patient are the ones who never seem to falter
We'll clear the distance, and we'll lay before his ageing alter
Children in need we need to show how to teach the greedy
For everyone's mind has the unbalanced heart for the needy

As slow as you think time is moving then put the brakes on
Before the oceans are emptied and everything's gone wrong
Catch that falling star heading your way into a hot firey flame
Like when Einstein thought that the Gods were having a game

And, so brothers and sister we still attempt to stage this Earth
Where shepherds first roamed in order for land to give birth
And. when love is your shepherd where water springs
Life is the magic in humanity so let's catch what it brings.

"You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one"
