mothers nest

Dakota

first thing was first I opened my eyes

And after that you were there for my first steps my first smile and all my cries.

when I got hurt you were my doctor

When i had questions how to talk to a woman you should how I should talk to her.

some days you felt drained and god knows how many times i drove you insane.

But no matter what you were there

even when it felt like all these other beings on earth never even cared.

I was to blind to see your love and god i love you so much,

I might of been blind but I would not be who I am today without my mother's touch.

I could never imagine leaving home, but all birds have to fly or try their best.

Under your wing was warm and I know when I return I am more than just a guest.

Im just another bird leaving mothers nest.

No one in this universe could ever replace you

How could you be so strong and selfless all the struggles you got us through.

Maybe we were no the most perfect family but who is perfect

Most people would probably could not handle a kid like me making the house a circus.

But when I feel angry and lost you stick by my side and help me find a purpose.

And I am sorry for giving grey hairs and if I ever brought you pain I am sorry if i brought you

tears.

We bring pain to those we care the most for because they,re taken for granted

sorry I know I am a headache when it seems I don't listen especially when you screamed yelled and ranted.

You are my everything and that's word

As I take Flight i realise how lucky duck to have you as my mama bird.

The strength of Mothers is shown in their love for you as you have shown in your words.
