Hereby we do perceive the love
Of God, and holy dove
The Spirit, and the Son Jesus
Their love all unto us
For Jesus did His life down lay
For us, that was the way
He showed His love, and so ought we
Of that calibre be
To lay down our lives, each other
For sister or brother
But if we have this world's goods here
Do we loving appear?
For if we see that one has need
And ignore them indeed
Where if we could help, but do not
A selfish state our lot
For we shall not have compassion
Shown to a needy one
So how then does God's love indwell
Such a person, pray tell?
So let us love, not word only
But love in action be
Loving in deed and truth, thus we
Do imitate Christ, see

Yes, thanks N. I suppose we can say 'I love you' (though I might swoon. heehee). But the thing here is to do, as well as to say, I think. Not only talk - which may be a lot of hot air. Erm, 'All donations gratefully received; send them to me!' C'mon now Orchi, you not got the hang of this poem. lol.

Thanks UNCLE STEVE I Know the tune (WSWTFBN ........) but not the words ~ so I will use in the next KARYOKE hymn sing we have ! Love the POEM ~ That is the Gspel we should preach 24/7 ! God loved the World so much ~ That He gave JESUS to be the Atonement (once for All) for our sins ~ AMEN ~ Thanks for caring & sharing ! So in return we ought to love all mankind 24/7 ! Love in the SPIRIT
