Butterfly Effect

Simon Bromley

Flutter of lilac, white and azure,

Sprightly dance and sway in allure.

Passerine in view fluently sings,

Beautiful butterfly flails its wings.

Spiral of leaves in quantum subdued,

Gathers in pace attaining in muse.

Zephyr ascending in timeless rhythm,

Increases in mass through grass and kingdom.

Over land and seas in vast saline,

Waves crash and ripple supreme.

Behold to serene captured enthral,

It reaches the shores in thunderous squall.

Tempest takes hold in natures respect,

Chaos ensues from butterfly effect.

That butterfly effect can cause such chaos. Good write Simon.

Thank you. Not sure if I believe in the chaos theory but it certainly is an interesting one and fun to write.

"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

        • Simon Bromley

It certainly is a head scratcher. You would think of course it does but if no one was there to hear it, then does sound exist in that moment. :-s

You writing is powerful yet beautiful. I could wrap myself up even in the chaos created in this one. You capture nature as an awesome mighty beauty.

It's the world I dream of.
