I have so many hopes and dreams
And yet I muffle my own screams
Truly wishing one day I'll get "there"
But does anybody else care?
I've climbed that mountain to get higher
Never did I stop or did I tire
Slowed down to be a mom to two
Never looked back though, it's true!
But my dreams are ready to come to light
My heart and mind are putting up a fight
So, it must mean it's worth fighting for
It's my family that I so adore
