The world around me

Sierra

The world around me.

I looked up at the sky

and felt comforted by the color:

a warm blue to calm me.

It reminded me of your eyes.

I went to a museum

and stared at the art

in absolute awe with its beauty.

It reminded me of the way you look at me.

I laid out in the sun

becoming engulfed by its light

and feeling its warmth.

It reminded me of your arms.

Everything around me

has become you.

The wind

because I get chills when you kiss me.

The grass

because your touch is so gentle.

The stars

because looking at you makes my mind wonder.

All these little things

that add up to you.
