MELT-DOWN

Fay Slimm.

Melt-down.

The advent of love warms frozen soreness
in all stony hearts.
Its melt-down uncovers the edges of icy
unreadiness and
transforms cold into smiles more worthy
of receiving sweet
yielding moments as love's benign freedom
fans to high heated
flame that which once taken hold will never
again allow frosty
defeat to block out future reaching for bliss.

Experience the feel
of love's fateful kiss and give its fire a chance
to liquify previous snow
as love's glow needs nothing more than slow
stoking with gratitude's
coals for it knows short sparks of happiness
roast unwilling hard stones
for love drives away any petrified heart-chill.

I have held the notion for longer than I care to mention that love does both carry and convey with it an optimum temperature .... warm regards and congratulations to both you and your pen.... N

Thanks for sharing FAY : Its 10am Saturday here : sailing this afternoon ! Love the picture and the ODE of LOVE for frozen LOVELESSNESS ! To a flame defying FROSTINESS ! Verse two suggests Love does slow down : but sufficient heat remains to prevent severe heart chill ! Brian & I are still in the first flush of LOVE which we endeavour to keep hot by phone & skype and unpublished LOVE POEMS !
    Blessings & Love : ANGELA 🧡🧡🧡🧡
