Behold, this Sacrament
Instituted and sent
By Christ, the Father's Son
He gave for every one
His life, that we set free from sin
Fresh praises new may e'er begin
By grace He takes my place
His love, mercies I trace
For there upon the tree
The cross, he died for me
Taking my sin and shame
All accusation, blame
The judgement sure that should be mine
Taken by Him, human, divine
The Lamb of God, Him slain
And through Him life I gain
Yet rose again from dead
Christ, he our living Head
These symbols to prepare
The bread and wine we share
Of His body broken, he gave
His blood outpoured for us to save
Forgiven and restored
Redemption through our Lord
O light our way we pray
When gloomy seems our day
Yet faith, hope, love prevail
Your mercies us not fail
And we may in remembrance
Partake Communion, you sense
Your presence ne'er departs
Your Spirit in our hearts

Only Bread & only Wine
Yet to us the solomn sign
Of the Holy & Divine
We give the thanks O LORD !
GOD was MAN in Palestine
And lives today in BREAD & WINE !
