Will

The Retired Bloke

The light dims

It seems as though

It won’t shine brightly

Will never again

The mist descends

Shrouding the world

In a hazy glow

Will not go

Life’s full eclipse

Blackening skies

As though undercover

Will not recover

Will I ever

Forever have the will

To be who I want to be

By my free will.
