A World Away

Reyas

I dream of a world that's far away from here,

A world not yet crippled with fear,

Not yet riddled with greed,

   that feeds,

      and breeds

          and bleeds

it little sins onto the ground.

A world without hatred and division,

A place you can casually find something productive on television,

Instead of keeping up with the Kardashians,

This world however is but a dream,

A wish upon a star, never a reality.

Because for this we'd have to have a world of competence,

But instead it's already covered in nonsense.
