Next Time

Mia_Rose

Each time I stumble

I seem to fall deeper

What if next time

There's no one to save me

What if next time

There's no way of leaving

The dark place

I'm trapped in

And it's only sadness I'm seeing

What if next time

There's no hand that's reaching

From the light

Through the darkness

And I'm stuck believing

This is the end

This is how it's meant to be

Then from the light

Through the darkness

I see someone reach for me

And to my surprise

It's you that I see

The one that's been there

All along

Standing next to me

So next time I'll know

That I'm not alone

Because I have you

And you have me

And that's what i call home
