Mirage

Joanna Garrido

Arid desert

shimmering heat haze

shielding eyes, dazzling rays

blazing sun beats down

Mirage

Crowned with aureole gold

you shine

strength, beauty

Being divine

Mirage

In your smile

sunbeams dance

In your eyes

Entranced

Mirage

Golden chariot

steeds of fire

Son of Titans

Heat, Desire

Mirage

Illuminated days

together

Sun God

Burn in me forever

Mirage

Thank you. Had a stab at something with shortened sentences.

Those short lines hit all the buttons for me Joanna - - contrasts you made were well thought out too - a real gem of a read.
