You Are Enough

Noah Malice

The color of the leaves before they turn brown

Like watching the sky as the sun drifts down

A gentle reminder that there's always an end

Life comes and goes like a hard gust of wind

So run through life and let go in the breeze

Feel it rush past you and flow into the trees

Let your heart beat fast but let it be light

Focus on the horizon and you'll make it alright

It's so nice to be chosen and so pure to be loved

To feel like you have nothing to be ashamed of

But feelings fade fast when reality takes hold

Distance and doubt can tarnish a heart of gold

You think you're lost and you'll never win

You want to give up and you want to give in

But you have a fire that burns in your soul

Kindle it carefully and you'll never grow old

It's so nice to be chosen and so pure to be loved

Let your embers be warm; of course you're enough
