Some cars go fast ~ while others go slow
On a Marathon Run ~ some puff & some blow
WHEREVER YOU GO ~ THERE IS STATUS QUO !
In a marriage theres GIVE and also theres TAKE
In the fish shop some COD while others want HAKE
Some folk folk get Fleeced by those on the Make
WHEREVER YOU GO ~ THERE IS STATUS QUO !
Im not permissive but Im not a prude
Ont' Beach some are covered while others are nude
In the Pub some are Gracious ~ and others Damn Rude
In Cafes some always ~ complain about Food
WHEREVER YOU GO ~ THERE IS STATUS QUO !
Lifes an enigma ~ Love is a riddle
A GAUSIAN CURVE ~ with most in the middle
Some Jokes are funny ~ but some are obscene
Some Birds are dowdy ~ and some love to preen
I love to come Home ~ wherever Ive been
