Broken

daydreaming

If I could lose control

And let my demons free

The things that I would do

Would make my fears come true.

Let the darkest night

Descend upon my head

So I can hear dark voices

Stir my thoughts, despair.

Let evil take control

It's everywhere I go

I'll fight it night and day

‘Til there’s nothing left of me.

My instincts seem to be

So very wrong, amiss

I keep offending God

Misguided actions, thoughts.

I think of how you lived

So careless and so free

You taught me to control

The broken part of me.
