Little White Lies
Is it okay
To tell little
White lies
Not on a Sunday
She said
Much to my surprise
Is it okay
To talk
Nonsense instead
Of course
It is crucial
So go right ahead
So he did
And she listened
Or rather
She read
Now she can’t
Get his damn voice
Out of her head

A fine write Neville. Aww, why they say I talk nonsense any day?! lol.
Good morning & thank you orchidee.... I have absolutely no idea 🙂
Enjoyed the read but why are white which stands for purity shouldn't they be little black lies - come to that how come they have any colour at all - unless they are written of course and then if they really are white you would need black paper - can you get it anywhere? I am so confused.
Hey many thanks kind sir for stopping by and considering me little Sunday mane scribble.. Hope the following little scribble is of some value.. black paper indeed... Little white lies refers to the venial (lesser) sin of lying in a nearly-truthful (but still dishonest) way. The notion of these kinds of lies being small and white (not dirty) implies that they aren't especially serious or consequenctial lies, cheers Neville
I'm in a flippant mood today - helps with my poetry!
ah well there's always a flip side....
Oh I can relate to that
It's not a lie if you tell the truth straight away afterwards
That's nonesense
Great write Neville good sunday to you
makes perfect sense to me.. bless ya Andrew & blessings a plenty this fine Sunday mane .. Oh' and thanks be upon you....
We all tell a few porky pies don't we. But i never do in these comments.
Nonsense on the other hand is something i'm all too good at publishing on MPS.
Would you rather be remembered for your porkies or a few items of nonsense?
Let's just forget she ever asked and have a party instead.. cheers DA..
Or the other way around lol
yes, of course.. the other way round... cheers my friend, thanks for reminding me...
