My Muse

Tiffany_Arnold

Your eyes are brown
Mine are green.
You're the color of hot chocolate
With a dash of milk,
I am the color of a wedding dress
Made of silk.
Your hair is curly
The color of a halk,
My hair is wavy
but the color of a sandstone rock.

All of these differences in just our complexion,
but no one can stand in between our connection.
Your attitude
Your smile
That's just a start.
The way you crinkle your nose when you think you did something smart.
The way you try to help with every little thing,
The way you sing
The way you take charge my little King.

I am so proud to be your mother
And I love the way you care for others,
I've watched you tuck a baby into the covers
Then give her a kiss,
You're such a lover.
You help at the store
You offer to hold my purse,
As we leave You say "Mommy I can get the door."
A pure angel right down to the core.

What would I do without your affectionate hugs
What would I do without my little love bug.
What would I do without your tantrums,
Even when you're mad you're so handsome.
I am here protect you
I am here to guide you,
You have grew my little muse
something myself has done too.
