Locked in Love

The Retired Bloke

Two hearts

Learning to beat

As one

Love growing stronger

Our time on earth

Is not done

My hope

My desire

Our energy

Smouldering

Like a smoking gun

Nothing will ever, ever

Tear us apart

The padlock

To our hearts

Locked together forever!

Thank you Fay. I am so fortunate to have had a lifelong partnership which has grown closer as every year has passed.

Very good write. I too have the same thought about my wife and my life together, "Locked together forever!"

A fine write RB. But the lock of my sweetheart and I was shattered ages ago. But how? Cos I sang to her. She chucked a boot at me and walked out. Thought it was two cats fighting, but it can't be helped. lol.
